SPRING AT LA FORESTERIA, for regeneration in our Mediterranean garden

From 8th March the wine resort of La Foresteria and its restaurant are ready to welcome you once more for a stay of wellness, relaxation and nature among the hills of Menfi.

In expectation of the arrival of spring and to welcome it together in contemplation of the surrounding countryside’s transformation, we can provide many reasons for you to plan a break with us.

Spring en primeur

We welcome the spring above all in the kitchen, giving our first guests in the restaurant during the weekends of March, an opportunity to be the first to try the new tasting menus with our special offer. We would like to invite you to try with us all the new dishes and above all to enjoy the season’s new produce. Each weekend will be themed and dedicated to a specific menu: 8th and 9th March we will try the new dishes of the Spring Menu of Chef Angelo Pumilia, the 15th and 16th March we will bring Casa Planeta’s traditional menu to the table, and the 29th and 30th March we will taste the new dishes of the Garden Menu. On each occasion we will be happy to propose special wine matchings, planned specifically for each tasting menu; the pairings will represent a short journey in time and space across Planeta’s Sicily, progressing in harmony with our ideas of the territory’s cuisine.


We await you therefore for these dinners in our restaurant and also invite you to grasp the opportunity of making a longer stay with our Regeneration package. On those same dates you can stay and sleep at our wine resort and apart from the special offer for dinner we will welcome you with a gift in the your room and an aperitif of a glass of Planeta wine, while the next day you can enjoy the new items on our breakfast menu.
You can also stay on with us for Sunday lunch. Breakfast and lunch are two meals we are particularly fond of and we would like to share them also with non-resident guests. Every weekend in March we will welcome you to our Breakfast in the garden, prepared with local and seasonal products of our family recipes as well as the special items offered every day by our kitchen.


During the whole of the spring, from Monday to Friday, we also welcome you for a
Special Lunch, a lighter preparation with three seasonal courses, while enjoying the light-filled panorama from our Garden Room.
For the last weekend of March, however, we could not refrain from devoting a special package to Easter in Sicily. This period in Sicily is filled with significant symbols and with an intense atmosphere of religious devotion. During the festive days we can guide you in discovering local traditions and in sharing the Easter Sunday Lunch with a menu inspired by our family recipes.
