Landscapes of Sicily: Four-Hands Dinner with Accursio Craparo (Radici)
FOUR HANDS DINNER
Accursio Craparo e Angelo Pumilia
The I Forestieri series kicks off: food and wine gatherings featuring chefs, producers, and key figures from the international culinary scene.
On April 10 at 8:00 PM, the inaugural signature dinner takes place: chefs Accursio Craparo and Angelo Pumilia craft a journey spanning land and sea to discover the most authentic flavors of Sicily.
To accompany the tasting menu, a vertical tasting of Planeta Chardonnay: a journey through thirty years of history culminating in “On Fire,” the special-edition label celebrating the 30th anniversary of the first harvest of an iconic Sicilian wine.
Accursio Craparo
Born in Sciacca in 1976, Accursio Craparo spent several years working outside of Sicily before falling under the spell of Modica’s beauty in 2003, choosing to put down his roots there. His first restaurant, La Gazza Ladra, was awarded a Michelin Star—an accolade later confirmed for Accursio Ristorante, where the chef deepened his ties to both sides of the island: the western region of his origins and the eastern region where he now lives.
In 2019, with Radici, Craparo initiated a paradigm shift, embracing a culinary philosophy that moves away from traditional fine dining in favor of a more flexible, unrestrained, and creative offering.
