Main responsibilities:

At the Planeta Ulmo winery in Sambuca di Sicilia, we are looking for a new team member to join our Hospitality Team, with the aim of welcoming guests and managing their wine tourism experiences, including guided visits, tours, organized events and other special activities.
This opportunity is ideal for young professionals who wish to strengthen their passion for and knowledge of the wine sector through an immersive experience within the company. The selected candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, leading tastings, selling products and managing the day-to-day operations of the estate’s wine tourism activities. This role plays a key part in turning each visit into a high-quality experience, fully aligned with the company’s style and values.

Requirements:

• Technical knowledge of wine, both as a product and as a market
• Fluent command of English (C1). Knowledge of additional foreign languages will be considered a strong asset during the selection process
• A passionate, empathetic, and engaging approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and stress management
• Availability to work, when required, on public holidays and Sundays

• Proven experience in the Food & Beverage sector and table service
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry (preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of English related to restaurant service; additional languages are a plus
• Ability to work effectively within a team, including during busy periods
• Knowledge of Sicilian cuisine and wines

Main Responsibilities:

Insula – the Beach Club of La Foresteria Planeta Wine Resort – is looking for a bright, professional and hospitality-driven individual to join the team as a Front Desk & Shop Assistant.
The selected candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, managing reservations, welcoming and assisting guests throughout their stay, and handling sales of selected products in the Club’s shop.

Requirements

• Previous experience in front desk, sales or front office roles within hospitality or retail environments
• Good knowledge of English; a third language (e.g. French or German) is considered a plus
• Basic knowledge of the world of wine or a strong motivation to learn
• Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy and a courteous attitude
• Strong organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail

La Foresteria Wine Resort is looking for a professional and dynamic Receptionist / Concierge to welcome guests with warmth and ensure a memorable stay.

• Welcoming and assisting guests throughout their entire stay
• Managing reservations, check-in and check-out procedures
• Handling guest requests and promptly resolving any issues
• Curating the guest experience with courtesy and strong attention to detail
• Managing full concierge services, including personalised recommendations for local activities, organisation of transfers, and booking of external services
• Coordinating and booking the resort’s experiences (wine tastings, guided tours, cooking classes, etc.)
• Maintaining impeccable and professional communication, both in person and via phone and email
• Working closely with other departments (housekeeping, restaurant, winery, etc.) to ensure a seamless, high-level service

Requirements

• Previous experience as a receptionist or concierge, preferably in mid- to high-end hospitality properties
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent Italian and English; additional languages are considered a plus
• Strong organisational skills, precision and meticulous attention to detail
• Proactive attitude, empathy and a natural aptitude for guest relations and teamwork

The role involves close collaboration with the Head Chef and the kitchen brigade, contributing to smooth operational coordination and the enhancement of raw ingredients, with a strong focus on local and seasonal produce.

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in an equivalent position
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and preparation procedures
• Ability to organise work independently and manage service workflows
• Team-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills within the brigade
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high quality standards
• Sensitivity to Sicilian cuisine and a passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
