The fourteen large rooms with private terrace, as in country landowners’ houses and resembling them in style with their warm Mediterranean colours, have various colours schemes and types of antique furniture, favouring pastel tints on the walls, reds and ochres in the geometrically patterned carpets, and the yellow and the blue of the ceramics from nearby Burgio and Caltagirone. The thousands of different herbs in the flower beds just outside provide the rooms with their names.
